Meet the Team!

Jessica | Owner

Hey y’all! I am very excited to start this new business venture and bring Country dance instructing to the Sandpoint area! I started teaching line dances in 2017, and my favorite part is still teaching those brand new to line dancing just how fun it can be.

My line dancing journey began in college with one night at the local dancing bar, and quickly became a huge part of my life. I have had the amazing opportunity to teach and perform at many events, large and small.

I enjoy many styles of dance including West Coast Swing, Country Swing, Square Dancing, and all Partner Patterns!

My favorite dances to teach are Take U Home, Something In The Water, Chill Factor, and Cowboy Cha Cha.

See you on the dance floor!

Miranda | Event Coordinator

Miranda is a north Idaho native who has more recently found the joy in line dancing. Don’t let that fool you though, because she is the one you’ll want to be watching on the dance floor if you want to learn new moves on the fly! Miranda is always ready to learn new dances and excited to teach others to learn them too.

Miranda’s current favorite line dances are Lonely Drum and Dizzy, but more are sure to be added to this list soon!

Cowboy Bob | Business Assistant

Bob Truesdale, or better known as Cowboy Bob on the north Idaho dance floor, has been in the dance world for more than 40 years. He is a choreographer and National certified Country Dance Instructor for line dancing and couples dancing.

Along his country dancing journey, Bob has competed in 2-step, East Coast Swing, Waltz, and the Shuffle.

“My happy place is found amongst the smiles on the dance floor. In my eyes, life’s a dance, you learn as you go. Happy dancing and may God bless y’all.”

Tessa | Lesson Coordinator

Tessa is thrilled to be joining the Walk The Line team to help bring more country swing and line dancing to North Idaho! She joined the dance floor in January 2025 and hasn’t been able to leave since. Shortly after discovering line dancing, she dove into country swing - quickly falling in love with both the movement and the community behind it.

Outside of the dance floor, Tessa is a personal trainer and physique/bodybuilding athlete. She gets joy from helping people feel strong, confident, and connected through movement. Her favorite part of dance is empowering beginners to believe they can do something new and have fun with it. Afterall, we were all beginners on the dance floor at one point. You’ll usually find her smiling, learning new dance moves, and brining big energy to the floor.

Her current favorite dances are High Class, Dizzy, and Lasso - but that is subject to change as she learns new dances!
